What is the capacity?
For a formal seated dinner, The Sage Room can host 120 guests with an open dance floor, and 150 guests without dance floor space. If you are interested in a cocktail social environment for your event, The Sage Room can hold up to 300 guests.
What is included in the package?
60-inch round dinner tables, chairs, linen, glassware, silverware, plates, and flatware.
Is the location convenient?
The Sage Room is surrounded by some of the most popular bars, restaurants, and hotels in downtown Raleigh. Once your event has ended you and your guests can keep the party going on our rooftop bar, the Highgarden, or our Botanical Lounge on the first level at 419 Glenwood occupancy permitting, among many others nearby!
Is outside catering allowed in?
The Sage Room caters in house for your event in our industrial kitchen located on our first level. We allow a tasting for 2 once you have placed a deposit for the space and date. We do allow an outside vendor to bring in any customized dessert for your event.
Am I required to use your preferred vendors?
We have an amazing list of preferred vendors that we have worked with in the past and completely trust for your event. Our vendors are extremely professional and knowledgeable about their industry. If you do have someone else in mind, you are allowed to use your own vendors.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require a 10% nonrefundable deposit along with your signed contract to hold the space and date of your choosing.
Am I allowed to bring in my own alcohol?
There is no need to apply for a limited license for your event. The Sage Room is insured and will supply all alcohol and bartenders necessary for your event.
Is there parking available for my guests?
Guests can find parallel parking spots along the street or park in one of the nearby parking decks. Available services like Lyft or Uber are great options for your guests as well.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely! We have an elevator that allows guests to access all three levels of our venue!
Do you provide AV equipment?
Unlike most venues, The Sage Room includes a large dance floor, DJ input acceptable speakers, and two built in light trusses hung above the floor for the best dance party! We also have a handheld mic, projector and screen available for an additional fee. Please note, we do not provide AV support during your event.
